Ruby red in colour. this full-bodied reserve Merlot delivers a decadent blackcurrant character with hints of mint and eucalyptus and subtle notes of vanilla. Fourteen months in new and third-fill French oak barrels gives it a luxurious mouth-filling quality.

Serving Suggestion:

The Gun Smoke Merlot has a rich and multi-layered character that makes it a great food pairing wine. Goes particularly well with duck, cream- and tomato-based pasta dishes, veal, lamb, tuna, Italian sausage and bobotie. Enjoy now or let it mature for another 5-10 years.
